All set for tomorrow.........

Well i think i'm organised for Christmas!!!
And it's only the 30th of November. That is unheard of for me!
This morning i finished off the last few presents i needed to buy. The majority of gifts i wrapped a week or so ago!!
 i've amazed even myself.
The past 2 years i've scrapped a Dec. Daily album and really enjoyed the process so decided to do another this year.
I finished organising the foundation for my December Daily album at the Crop4aCause a couple of weekends ago. so i have some pictures of it to share.
The cover is a Teresa Collins chipboard album.
And the pages are a mixture of a heap of different brands
MME, Kaisercraft, Websters, Teresa Collins, K&Co and lots more but i've forgotten now. hahah!
I used somePapers i had in my Christmas stash.
And i bought some new release ones that appealed to me
Mostly traditional type papers.

i've used lots of transparencies and opaque pages this year.
Love them!

And as a go through the month i'll probably embellish some more.

Most of the pages are about 8x8" so
i'm thinking of probably using a lot of 5x7" photo's and collages

i may also print out journal boxes from some Ali Edwards digital overlays
i bought a couple of year ago.

So now i just need to keep up with at least a photo a day for the next month.
i'm hoping to update it every couple of days.

so out came my punches, I {heart} them. i used some of the MME
Fine and Dandy papers and chipboard embellishments.
Thanks for your comments i really appreciate them:)

WW1

i finished this LO on the weekend, then it met with a small accident and had to be repaired!!!hmmmm
So i'm just getting it uploaded now.
Its a challenge LO for the revamped WW1 (White With 1) blog.
The challenge criteria were white (obviously),

Plus yellow and journalling onto your cardstock.
Patterned papers are OA and JBS
Great challenge blog this one really enjoyed it, I don't usually scrap with yellow

finally finished....the mini.

At Bons Scraps retreat in October i started this Mini album taught by Bon Johnstone. Well two weeks later i finally finished it and am really happy with this little keepsake of our recent holiday in Sydney.
Sorry some of the pictures aren't the best, it was very difficult to photograph. Most likely because i had so many pages in the 'mini'!  Sixteen pages actually, eek.  It started out as just a few photo's of my daughter and morphed into my favorite photo's from the whole week we spent at the beach!!

Because the album was quite bulky by the time i finished i made this little clasp
out of buttons and twine.

I made a hole in the cover of the album and pushed the back part of the button through
then used this paper clip to hold it in place.
Then repeated the same on the back album cover and wrapped twine from one button to the other.
Clever? Well i think it's pretty cool!
Love the look of transparencies in mini's.

Maggie didn't venture much further into the water than this but boy did she
enjoy chasing and running from the waves.

oops i lied she did get right into the rock pools!
In fact she said 'It's so warm i could live here!'

Push-ups?

Somehow i managed to get an awful lot of photo's of Maggies Backside!
she did a lot of digging in the sand. Oh and
my poor beach Babe Andy, trying to get warm
Any wonder he was cold after swimming in the ocean
in the middle of october, bbrrrr!!!

unfortunately the boys lost this footy while we were away.
Just one more to add to the tally of
 footballs that have gone astray.

So there you have it. Hope you like!

my little slice of heaven...

come inside and i'll show you my gorgeous new scrap space. My little slice of heaven! Where i think i could happily live forever and not ever leave. Well at least until the kids need to be feed, or nature calls, or the kids game has turned to tears, or...
well you get the picture!
It's taken a long time to get here but it's finally there with all credit to my dad for installing the bench top, painting and assembling as well as a myriad of other little jobs.
Thanks Dad you really are the best!!!

I bought the bench top from a seconds lot at a kitchen place it's just left over pieces of benchtop
that are too small for whole kitchen but perfect for me!!

And my Ikea 'Expedit' shelving cubes that i'm am totoally in love with!
I haven't competely figured out what will go where yet and i need some more baskets or
boxes of some sort the put in the shelves.
My husband is a bit jealous of this he now wants one to store his gazzillion economic books.
Sorry buddy but there aint no room for them in here!
The old filing cabinet in the corner got a paint job as well. I can thank mum for that one, well not
for painting it that was Dad AGAIN, but for talking me into painting it rather than pitching
it because it didn't match anymore.  Thanks Mum. :)

When the kids are in bed i can sit and scrap and watch telly. Dad even put in a
new shelf for this tv i bought at Aldi.
He also put in the open cupboard under the bench for the Sewing and Cricut machines .
Thanks again Dad!!

Not too sure what to put on the walls yet. Pictures? Artwork? Maybe a shelf above the desk?
for now it's where i blutack my LO's and photograph them.

If you want to see what it used to look like you can check out this post.
Quite a difference hey?
Well seeya i'm off to scrap in my little slice of heaven. :)
