Hey all!
i have a couple of layouts to share for the Scrapbooking top50 Cyber crop!

the theme this month is 'Lights, Camera, Action'
the first layout is a close up so the challenge is to use a 5x7 close up photo.

Love these sass papers!

and the second is the action theme.
Using of course action photo's and the word action in your title
and more of the 5 and dime range from October afternoon.

i've been busy but i'll leave it at that for now.
thanks for dropping buy.
Cheers, Leonie.

scrap the boys - july

here is my scrap the boys entry for july.
the challenge was to use tape on your layout and the word Play.
I used two types of tapes the Tim Holtz tissue paper and then the Prima barcode tape that i overlapped
on the edge of the layout to create a transparent border.

And a few layouts i did last saturday
using the OA five and dime collection.

stuck sketch 1st july

Haven't done a stuck sketch for a while so thought i might have a go
at this months.
I used October Afternoon papers 'Rocket Age'
and made this layout,
based on the sketch

this is the cool hand drawn sketch by
Crystal Goulding.

July+1st+Crystal.jpg
a Charms Creation lollipop and a bottletop from
d'lish scraps

and another super little embellishment, a denim covered cog from
'a lil somethin'

And this is a just because layout, a very blurry photo.
but i had to document this story about
my son and how sad he was when his little
soft toy he has had since birth went missing.
Man, i turned the house upside down searching for
Jacquesy!!!!

used lots of Sassafras papers on this one.

Thanks for stopping by and thank you for your comments,
much appreciated.

beyond the door- July

Hello everyone.
Well week one of the school holidays are over and we've survived intact!
I have a bit of a love - hate relationship with the holidays, at
the same time as i love them for their lack of routine
I also struggle at times keeping all four kids
happy and occupied!
Anyhow here's some scrapping.
i was asked by Catie from beyond the door
to be a guest designer and create a layout for the july challenge
This is the room to take inspiration
for your layout.

What a great kitchen. That is some ice bucket!
Could do with a glass of champers right now actually!!
Here's the layout i created, using all Kaisercraft -Nan's kitchen
range.

And of course some extra criteria to spice things up
a little.

1x photo or picture/drawing of a favourite food/meal/cafe/restaurant
2 x flowers
3 x kitchen related embellishments (e.g. spoons, cups, forks, crockery etc, which can be stamped or die cut or chipboard etc)
plus,  some baking twine somewhere on your project.

Thanks for the invite Catie i enjoyed this challenge.
If you're looking for something to do why not give this
challenge a go. Here it is.

and just one more layout, i created for 'show us your stuff'
except i realised i didn't have a handmade item on there. Oops!!
ok that's it for now.
Off to crop4acause tomorrow!
Yay! 12 hours of scrapping.
Just what i need to get me through the next week
of the holidays ;-)
Cheers, Leonie. xx

Scrap the Girls - my first as CT

oh so happy to publish this post! Still excited to be on the Scrap the Girls creative team and this
is my first layout with them, plus the challenge is set by moi!!!

So this is the july challenge

scrap a Layout using this album cover by ‘Pink’ ‘Greatest Hits….So Far’ as your inspiration.

Choose the colours, design, words whatever grabs you

and use them to create your layout, girls only of course.

AND you have to choose any song title or lyrics by Pink
and use them anywhere on your layout,
either as a title on your page or in your journaling.

I used Basic Greys' 'Hello Luscious' range for this layout
of my daughter.
I took my inspiration from the split title
and the large alpha's used on the album cover.

and i used the lyrics from Pink's fantastic song "perfect"
for my title and journalling

I hope i've inspired you to get creating!!!
check out the blog for all the other
fab Layouts by the creative team.
can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.
Cheers, have a great weekend!
Leonie. xx
