Imaginariums Designs Chipboard - Design Team Call

Hello Bloggers,
did you know that Imaginarium Designs Chipboard Company is have it's annual DT call
All the info about it can be found HERE if your interested.
I'm on the current Imaginarium Designs Design Team and am enjoying showcasing their fabulous chipboard.
I would love to stay on another year so today I would like to share 10 of my favourite
creative projects using Imaginarium Designs Chipboard.

*************

First up is one of the very first pages I scrapped using Imaginarium Designs chipboard.
I love the circular clock face chipboard pieces adhered to the
background and then sprayed with bright colours.
Then I used more chipboard on top for my title and embellishment but kept it white as a contrast against the bright colours.

The Chippie pieces on this page were coloured with Faber-Castell Gelatos.
With some stamping on the butterflies and an white gel pen outline to the title letters.

I used a similar method here as in the first page, adhering the background pieces to the page first then
set about adding colour and texture to the page.
Adding in the title and butterflies last.

You can see the whole process here if you'd like.
I made a process video while putting this page together.  :)

This page was a lot of fun to put together.
It has a fairly crazy coloured background so when it came to adding my chipboard I kept it all
the one colour - grey - to make it stand out from the background and also tone down the brightness
a little.   Love all those star chipboard pieces one of my favourite shapes.

For this next page I used this perfectly sized and pretty Chipboard frame to highlight just one of this rapid sequence of photo's.
Then added a banner and some script words sprayed with irRESITibles in a contrasting orange.

I used embossing enamel and inks on the chipboard on this page.
The embossing enamel on the glorious flourish gave a mottled effect to match the various blues in the water and sky.   I was really happy with the finished page on this one.

Whilst on the Design Team I've been very fortunate to have received some awesome Sponsorship from Imaginarium Designs for some scrapbooking classess I have taught.
It's very rewarding to share the many and varied ways to use chipboard in your craft and I'm very grateful for generosity of Imaginarium Designs Chipboard.
The page below is one of the classes I taught throughout the year.

A mixed media page I did this year and this one has embossing enamel used on most of the
Imaginarium Designs Chipboard.

I love the colours on this page, I used the blues and skin tones from the the photo to choose the
papers and colours I would use on the chipboard.

This 8x8 canvas is one of my most recent pieces for Imaginarium Designs.
All the chipboard is either painted gold or had gold embossing enamel applied.
I love how the gold chippie pieces are set apart from the soft pastels on the
canvas and flowers.

Chipboard is such a versatile product there are so many ways to alter it.
Embossing powders are a current favourite technique of mine.

So there you have 10 of my favourite projects using chipboard.

Imganiarium Designs - November shares

Hi thought I'd share my November Imaginarium Designs blog post here on my blog
as well.

First up I have a Mixed Media canvas that I created recently as a gift for a friend.
I had a hard time parting with it as I really loved the finished product but it's nice to
know that's it's now bringing a smile to someone else's face.

The background colour is mostly using Lindy's Stamp Gang Tres Chic range of sprays
and Stencil Girl and Memory Box stencils.

The various sweet chipboard pieces I used were all painted gold and then randomly brushed
with white gesso.

For the title I used gold embossing enamel from Stampendous.
It sets so thick and smooth on the chipboard I really love the effect.

My second project is a page I embellished solely with Imaginarium Chipboard.
and used Websters Pages Ocean Melody range of papers.

First up is this lovely cluster of layered Cherry Blossoms and Twig chipboard.
Inked for colour and Kindy Glitz for sparkle and Gesso for a mottled effect on the Cherry Blossoms.

The title piece 'Cousins' was painted with gesso and then several layers of white paint
with a stippling brush to add a subtle texture.

For the Monarch Butterfly I used the same technique as for the Cherry Blossoms.
Ink, Kindy Glitz and Gesso.

And to blend everything together the last piece of chipboard, this cute oval frame was inked with the
same colour as the twig chipboard.
