beyond the door -june

Hi been a week or so since i shared any scrapping.

Yesterday i did this layout for the Beyond the Door Challenge blog

This is the room to draw your inspiration from

i used the OA rocket age collection,

and drew my inspiration from the circular decorations 

hanging from the ceiling. 

I decided to create my own little solar system.  

i used some photo's of my twins and one of their cousins involved in one of their 

favourite pastimes, Wrtestling!!!!

They Never get tired of it, i do though!! lol. Usually because it invariably 

ends in tears!

june sketches at Anna's and SFS

Anna's Craft Cupboard June Sketch.

I had to think about this one for quite awhile,

but eventually came up with this

I used some tim holtz masks and distress stains (love these, must buy

more colours!)

And finished it off with some Lovely Lollipops by Charmane Koch

and the cogs and heart are from 'a lil somethin' by Wendy Smith and Susan Longman.

These photo's of Andy crack me up. He may be a cricket

freak like his dad but the box had him confused at first!!!

Really happy with how this one came together, those

Sassafras Lass foldies are so cute and easy to use.

June Savvy Challenges

Over the past few days i've managed to get all the

June challenges done for Scrapbook Savvy!!

I used LilyBee papers for this first challenge.

This chipboard banner I have inked in different colours to match

the papers

The Challenge by Renee is a Music based one using the song by Bruno Mars-

'Just the Way you are'.

I chose some of the Lyrics to use on my

Layout.

The Next Layout is based on this sketch by Anthea

Ha-ha Maggie having a mud pack facial, when we

were camping last summer.

Icky Sticky Mud!

And the last one is the Wordy challenge by Sara.

the word to use being LOVE.

And I used more Lily Bee Papers.

I really like these blue and red ones.

Purple Pumpkin & Once upon a sketch

Finally after a busy long weekend i've got a chance to share a couple of layouts i did last week.

this is a LO for a sketch challenge on

the Purple Pumkin Blog.  Sam sells the cutest buttons and i've

used 2 of them here, the green polka dots and the owl button.

This is the sketch i based the LO on.

                                         

I even managed to use these Sassafras papers that i've

had for ages but was never sure how to use.

I'm not sure i managed to contain the busyness of the paper but

i gave it a go!  :)

And the second LO i have to share is for the Once upon a sketch blog

along with the sketch you need to journal about a female in your life-at least two sentences.

i used my storyboard kit for this one!

The resin flowers and bottle cap are from d'lish scraps.

Aren't they so cute?!

The kit had a crafters workshop polka dot template included.

i love it!!!

I journaled about Maggies favorite dress! she wears this dress all the time!

Even now in the winter!!!

I'm so excited about being chosen on the Scrap the Girls CT.

The team was announced this morning!
