Scrap and Chat Retreat 2016

Hey all!  A couple of weeks ago I attended one of the most fabulous retreats.  Scrap and Chat Retreats.  Held at 'The Country Place' in the Dandenong Ranges in Melbourne.   The most fabulous arty, creatives gathered together.  It's so amazing to gather with people that 'get' the scrappy/arty thing and understand where you're coming from...Look at all of us.

Here are some of the pages I created at the retreat, the rest you'll see a little later as they were for Design teams.

Love this one using different bits and pieces from various companies.  Papers from Kaiserkraft, epoxy stickers from Cocoa Vanilla Studio and American Crafts.  And there's also a heart on there from Charms Creations, which I sprayed pink.

The background on this page is using texture past and a Crafters Workshop Stencils and the colour is from watered down Distress Paints.

Next page is using the Paige Evans collection from Pink Paislee, love those thickers!

And the last page today is this magical rainbow one.  Accentuated mainly with black and white papers and embellishments and black house paint a la Lisa Oxley.  A New Years Eve photo.  The rainbow effect was with Kaisermists and a smattering of water droplets to achieve a bleached effect.

thanks for stopping by, until next time.

Kraft Plus - Guest Designer and Sassy Scrappers February Mood Board.

Hello and welcome to my blog.
I'm sure most of you have seen the new blog challenge on the block - Kraft Plus.
If not head over HERE.

Sassy Scrapper whose Design Team I am on are one of the sponsors this month and because of this
I was asked to be one of the Guest Designers for Kraft Plus' very first challenge.
Exciting stuff!!

Here is the colour challenge called Mango Breeze.
Aren't the colours divine?

Can I just say congratulations to Sandra Wallace the founder of Kraft plus
on a successful launch and a big thank you for inviting me to be part of
this very first challenge I know it's going to be a fabulous site
for inspiration so make sure you head over HERE and support

So I set about creating my page - on a Kraft base - as per the rules and this is what I came up with
in the end.

Just about everything I used on my page was from the Amy Tangerine - Stitched collection
Which you can buy at Sassy Scrapper of course. ;)

+++++++++++++

I have another page also using the Stitched collection (can you tell I like this collection?!)
Hope you can come over and join us.

Our mood board this month was created by fellow Design Team Member Anita Bownds.
