Scrap and Chat Retreat 2016

Hey all!  A couple of weeks ago I attended one of the most fabulous retreats.  Scrap and Chat Retreats.  Held at 'The Country Place' in the Dandenong Ranges in Melbourne.   The most fabulous arty, creatives gathered together.  It's so amazing to gather with people that 'get' the scrappy/arty thing and understand where you're coming from...Look at all of us.

Here are some of the pages I created at the retreat, the rest you'll see a little later as they were for Design teams.

Love this one using different bits and pieces from various companies.  Papers from Kaiserkraft, epoxy stickers from Cocoa Vanilla Studio and American Crafts.  And there's also a heart on there from Charms Creations, which I sprayed pink.

The background on this page is using texture past and a Crafters Workshop Stencils and the colour is from watered down Distress Paints.

Next page is using the Paige Evans collection from Pink Paislee, love those thickers!

And the last page today is this magical rainbow one.  Accentuated mainly with black and white papers and embellishments and black house paint a la Lisa Oxley.  A New Years Eve photo.  The rainbow effect was with Kaisermists and a smattering of water droplets to achieve a bleached effect.

thanks for stopping by, until next time.

Getting Painty!

I recently created this page for Imaginarium Designs Chipboard.  I used Dylusions paints to create a fun painty background.

I created another couple of pages and used them as class samples, using the same technique and taught them for Surreal Creations.  Imaginarium Designs sponsored the class with all the chipboard pieces and I used the Cocoa Vanilla Studios - Colour Me Happy Collection
