Hello, I remembered I haven't shared quite a few layouts from the retreat I went on at the beginning of the month. Just too much happening at the moment.
Last term at school for the year and there are lots of various events already and it's only October!
For instance tonight I'm off to an information evening for my eldest who starts high school next year!
Eeeeekk! Last night was my niece High School Graduation, Sunday was my sons confirmation.
School Art Show next week,
then there's cricket and hockey training and.... ugh it goes on and on.
On to my page though, which is for the ScrapFriends October Sketch.
A picture from our Sydney trip last year,
I had the Bridge and a Manly Ferry all lined up and a Seagull
flew through my shot! Hence the title 'Seagull Photo Bomb'! ;D
Really not too sure about this page, it started out life with the stencilling in green and gold. which I didn't like and proceeded to Gesso over the lot and then I just kept adding various things
Gelatos, stamping, rubons etc until I was satisfied with it.
Maybe my opinion is coloured by having seen the green and gold version but I'm still not sure
the blue and red is working either! Ah well.
Close up of some of the stamping and rubons.
Here's the sketch itself.
Thanks for looking and take care.
That photo is fabulous.. if you were trying to capture the sea gull it probably would not co-operate for you.. hehe.. the back ground looks fabulous..
